Secure communications. Orbital networks. Mission critical.

The Guardian Network

The network for the people joining, running and building the space economy. QYPR turns the loneliest step in a space career — getting in — into a guided, social, measurable path, and owns the network those people stay on afterwards.

Problem

Four seats. No shared graph.

The applicant

~800 enlisted slots a year, the highest ASVAB floors in the military, a months-long path — and generic test prep, a PDF of fitness standards, a government locator page. Done alone.

The recruiter

The Space Force stood up its own recruiting squadron in 2025. Small caseloads, consumer tools, no view of a candidate’s progress until test day.

The space professional

A labour-constrained industry with no network of its own. Who builds what and who is hiring lives in hallways and a generic LinkedIn.

The community

Defence-adjacent and professional groups post on platforms they cannot govern, because building their own is out of reach.

Solution

One identity. Three layers.

The applicant who practises at 18 is the Guardian who mentors at 22 and the professional who hires at 30. The graph compounds; the brand never changes hands.

Recruit

17–24 applicants, recruiters, commanders.

Why they come. Practice scores, standards, a real recruiter directory.

Why they stay. Squads, boards, alerts from installations.

Open Recruit

Atlas

Space professionals and hiring companies.

Why they come. Who builds what, who is hiring, what is flying.

Why they stay. Follows, saved opportunities, a graph they own.

Open Atlas

Network

Communities that need their own network.

Why they come. Identity and data they control, closed by default.

Why they stay. Portability — accounts can leave, so trust is earned.

Product — live

Built in this room. Shipped to production.

  • Web app on qypr.org, auto-deployed from main, with OpenAPI and an MCP surface.
  • Adaptive CAT-ASVAB with live scoring, fitness standards, Apple Watch and Whoop import, opt-in compete boards.
  • Recruiter and station directory from official locators. 10 installation portals with official news.
  • Atlas in the same app: 40 companies, 30 people, 20 missions, 32 opportunities in the seeded catalog, plus follows and saves.
  • Self-operated AT Protocol PDS + PLC, closed federation; Pulse ingesting the firehose. iOS (org.qypr.ios) on TestFlight; Android (org.qypr.android) built and unit-tested.

No usage or outcome numbers on this page. Those wait on production metrics, not a slide placeholder.

Walk the Guardian product

Why now

The window is open.

A service that recruits for itself

Authorised end strength 10,400 for FY2026 (+600). First USSF recruiting squadron stood up in 2025 — new habits, no legacy tooling.

Recruiting is a national problem

The services missed FY2023 goals by 41,000. Only the Marines and the Space Force made goal. Budget and attention are on it.

Two people can run a network

The AT Protocol matured: a single PDS is a complete firehose. QYPR already operates one in production.

A workforce short of skilled labour

US commercial space workforce up 4.8% in 2023, seventh straight year; skilled labour is the stated constraint.

Market

Small wedge. Large expansion.

Competition

One corner each.

Sandboxx is family-side and post-enlistment. RallyPoint is a veteran network. Nobody serves the applicant, the recruiter, and the industry on one identity.

Business model

Three lines, in order.

Planned prices. Nothing here is a live checkout. $0 spent on paid acquisition before month 12 is the model, not a past result.

From month 7

QYPR Plus

$6.99/mo

Serious-applicant tier: full adaptive bank, fitness plans, squad analytics. Free tier stays generous.

From month 7

Atlas for companies

$149/mo

Claimed company page and unlimited opportunity listings after a 90-day free period. Founder-led supply.

From month 13

QYPR Network

$2,500/mo

A hosted, closed network for a community that needs its own. One design partner first.

Model at month 18: $6.8k monthly revenue, ≈$43k cumulative — proof, not runway.
