Who is the first sergeant?
The senior enlisted leader who handles people problems in a unit.
In BMT your world is the MTI. In the operational Air Force / Space Force a first sergeant (or SEL) is who you go to for serious personal issues after your supervisor. They are not your lawyer and not your therapist, but they know both offices.
