Process
What is DEP?
Delayed Entry Program — you are in, but you have not shipped to BMT yet.
After you contract you are usually in DEP until your ship date. You still have a recruiter. You can keep studying, training, and in some cases change jobs if the book allows. You can also be discharged from DEP if you break rules or become unqualified. Treat DEP like you already wear the cloth.
